Husky Mix to Experienced Home

Description

Unfortunately we have to rehome our husky mix, Flower. She's about a year, year and a half. Her last home didn't tell us her birthday. We're not sure what's she's mixed with, just pretty certain she has husky somewhere. She's a medium sized pup, probably only 40 lbs. Pros: She's a fantastic snuggler and extremely loving towards people. She's been great to any stranger she's introduced to, and loves to gives kisses. She walks ok-ish on a leash. 100% house trained. Does fine in a kennel, you just have to put her in or coax her with some treats. Cons: She probably needs to be either an only dog, or with male dogs only. She does fine with our females until they start playing, and then Flower kind of escalates things to a fight. She is not a submissive dog by any means, and can be possessive of some toys/food. She definitely needs an experienced home and a yard. Her last owners rehomed her to us because she kept escaping their yard, but we haven't had a problem with that at all. Has a decent prey-drive, so I doubt she'd be good with cats or other small animals. I would say probably no smaller children either. Not fixed or UTD on shots, but if that's a concern we could probably get her shots up to date prior to rehoming. If you have any other questions, please ask. We're not in a hurry to rehome her and want her to go to the right home. We love her very much, and are torn up about this decision but feel it's the best for our family. There is a rehoming fee but it's negotiable to the right home.
