We are looking for a Handyperson to join our team to take care of property maintenance and minor projects. Our ideal candidate has experience as a handyperson, construction worker, home improvement contractor, carpenter, remodeler, property maintenance, management, or a similar industry. Our Handyperson will: • Provide upkeep for our rental properties • Change furnace filters and water filters • Clean the yard • Perform pest-control maintenance • Change batteries & light bulbs • Power wash decks & porches • Repair damage (water leaks, doors, toilets, shower drains, walls, furniture assembly, etc.) • Respond to any other minor maintenance issues Our Ideal Handyperson: • Experienced: Some previous experience as a handyperson, construction worker, home improvement contractor, carpenter, remodeler, property maintenance, management, or a similar career path. Very good at working with your hands. The ability to use a smartphone is preferred. • Flexible: Steady but flexible work hours for maintaining multiple properties. Ability to respond to emergency issues quickly. • Active: Need to perform physical tasks required of a handyperson & the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation. • Works Independently: Able to self-manage & perform tasks on a list while also taking direction. • Good Character: Someone who is dependable, trustworthy & hardworking. • Detail Oriented: A task-oriented & organized person to take care of numerous details. Able to prioritize tasks • Problem-solver: Ability to creatively resolve maintenance issues quickly, efficiently, and affordably. Comfortable knowing when to provide the repair yourself or when to call in an outside partner, such as an HVAC repair tech, plumber, electrician, etc. • Passionate: Loves to provide an unexpected WOW! service and understands your work's purpose & value in creating outstanding guest experiences.
