Hi, I am looking for a fellow artist/maker to take over the remaining portion of my lease in a very cool old building in the heart of Seattle's historic Pioneer Square district. I have a huge art studio that is ready for you to use for making your craft. I am a professional artist that needs to sublet the entire 1,100 square feet. Private space with secure, locking door that opens to a shared hallway with only one other neighboring tenant on the second floor. Also two private restrooms and a functional drinking fountain with filtered water in shared hallway. The building is 24 hour accessible. 2nd floor walk-up only. The Space: Private and secure. Ventilation. Kitchenette with stove and sink. Two (operable) huge windows. Beautiful exposed brick walls. Hight ceilings (11-12 feet) Great overhead lighting. Has its own utility sink. Huge closet. The floor is carpeted, however the carpet needs to be replaced so the landlord is fine with you making stains. Approximately 1,100 sq ft (maybe slightly more). $1,500 per month, includes all utilities. My lease has 8 months left, so that is what I am looking for: a person/business that wants to take over the financial responsibilities of the space. I am in excellent standing with the owner and they would be involved so that the sublet is legal and you are protected.
