Responsibilities: Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner. Responsible for prep, set-up, service, clean up, and restocking of food service areas. Adhere to all sanitation requirements including product rotation, temperature maintenance, storage procedures, cooking requirements, and handling techniques. Cleans and sanitizes all small wares. Maintain appearance and uniform standards. Maintain cleanliness of all dining and service areas. Ensure work area is orderly and properly stocked. Complete assigned duties within each shift, focusing efforts on cleanliness and appearance of dining areas. Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and the Location Manager. Conducts themselves in a pleasant and professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view. Ensure a congenial atmosphere for all. Follow Company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources. Follow Company and departmental safety practices to minimize risk to self and others. Follow Company and departmental policies and procedures and holds crew members accountable for the same. All other duties as assigned by Location Manager. Skills & Knowledge: Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and Location Manager. Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: Service procedures, menus, and set-up requirements. Knowledge of basic sanitation and kitchen equipment skills. Serve Safe Certificate beneficial but not required.
