Boxer needing a home

A male boxer wondered in to our business a few weeks ago and we tracked down his owner who does not want him back. We have been dog-sitting him and found he's got some great qualities. Max is house- broken and will let you know when he needs to go out. He needs a big enough play area to run around. Max is great with kids but unknown with other animals. We have left him alone in a bedroom and as long as a tv is on he is fine but he was on his own on the streets for a week plus so he still has some anxiety issues. Nothing obvious health wise besides being a little under weight. He is neutered. We are not collecting anything for him to go to a new home but we've had large breed dogs before so would definitely want to make sure he goes to the right home.
