Morrone Interiors is recognized as a high-end interior design firm in Winter Park, Florida specializing in comprehensive interior detailing, space planning, merchandising, and interior renovations. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to add to our fast-growing team. Successful candidates should have previous experience in the estimating process during pre-construction and construction phases. Responsibilities This position will work directly with the Project Manager and Design Team by preparing accurate estimates for residential and commercial projects. Communicate timely and effectively with co-workers, sub-contractors and municipalities to maintain positive relationships. Knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions and have excellent numerical and analytical skills. Ensure that estimates are accurate and provide detailed proposals to the Project Manager. Account management from initial sale to the closing of projects and ensure the successful delivery of materials to construction projects. Follow Project Worksheets protocol to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the design team communication. Understand each project and its requirements to ensure a positive client experience. Conduct regular research to obtain accurate data on labor costs, materials, and production times. Create new relationships with potential vendors and subcontractors. Assist the Project Manager with onsite related issues and provide solutions. Generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research. Assist in resolving any administrative problems. Perform data entry and scan documents. Assist with new and existing client meetings, compile notes, and assist with preparation and presentation for the meetings. Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail. Requirements 2+ years as an Estimator Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record Must be able to read blueprints
