Description

90 min Workshop: Breathe Yourself Back Into Balance Let yourself be held, supported, and surrender into softness during this gentle breathwork journey. Nicole will invite the group to step out of “hustle culture” and into a state of receiving. During this workshop you will practice slowing down, listening to your body, and bringing in ease. Intensity does not equal transformation, and all too often we use intensity and “doing” to bypass the discomfort of “being.” Explore the power of stillness in this sacred and safe group container. Why is breathwork transformative? * Immediate stress reduction & anxiety relief. * Connect with your emotions & change your response to them. * Revitalizes your organs & reduces toxins * More energy & mental clarity. * Deepens your relationship to your body. * Releases stuck trauma * Better access your intuition & higher self Meet Nicole Virtue! Nicole is a Trauma-Informed, Certified Breathwork Facilitator and Life Coach. She loves helping people shift unhelpful patterns, get unstuck, and build self-compassion. One of her favorite tools to use is the breath! Nicole has over 200 hours of breathwork facilitation and embodiment training. Her breath workshops incorporate safety, intention-setting, grounding, meditation, the breathwork journey itself, time for journaling, and opportunities for connection within the group. During the breathwork journey she implements a 2 or 3 part breath pattern, which she refers to as the halo-active and tri-active breaths (both are forms of conscious connected breathing.) Nicole guides the breathers with cues, music, and movement. Attendees may also anonymously opt-in or opt-out of hands-on support during the journey to help release/move stuck energy. ~~~ I have a Release of Liability Form and General/Medical Form for attendees to fill out. And here is the blurb I send out to people who register so they know how to prepare for the session: HOW DO I PREPARE FOR BREATHWORK? It’s preferable to do breathwork on an empty stomach so plan to have your last meal 2 hours prior to your session. Bring water and wear loose clothing especially around your stomach area. Breathers will lay down flat so be sure to bring a yoga mat. If you would like a pillow under your head, make sure it is flat and under your shoulders as well so that your neck & airway are open. Some breathers like placing a pillow under their knees. It is also encouraged to bring a blanket, water bottle, and any of your own comforting or grounding items (such as crystals, personal journal, etc) Come with an open mind and heart and with zero expectations based on what you’ve heard can happen during the breathwork session and instead go with the flow. Reflect on an intention for the session (i.e. something you would like to release, how you want to feel, etc.) Nicole will be providing eye masks, small journals, pens, and tissues. Please reach out if you have any questions, clarifications, or concerns.
