Sweet 4 yr old pit bull needs a better home

This is Winston. He is a 4 year old Pit Bull. His rabies is up to date but distemper and bordetella is not. Winston is a very sweet and cuddly boy who is super loyal to his family. I am so upset to be rehoming him, but he needs a better home to fit his needs. He can be reactive and needs a calm home. I do need to disclaim; our neighbor came through our back gate unannounced and he did bite him. He will be done with his 10-day quarantine on 9/1/2022. He does well with other female dogs as long as they are slowly introduced. He does best around children 10 years old and up, he would not do well in a home with young children. He is cat friendly, as long as again, they are slowly introduced, and the cat is calm and doesn't run. He is a good dog; he just needs patience. I wish I could give him that, but I unfortunately had to move him from Ohio into my dad’s house where there are other male dogs and too much traffic in and out the house. I adopted him 2 years ago and it is apparent he was abused in the way he reacts to certain things. I just want him to have a good life because he really does deserve it. I wish I had the time and space to work with him, but I don't. If you have a home that sounds like a good fit for him, please consider meeting this sweet guy.
