Re-homing Parakeet/Budgie

Our 10-year-old son has chosen to re-home his pet bird. It is a male, approximately 9-months-old. He just can’t give the bird the care and attention he needs. The bird is a little skittish, but his wings were clipped about a month ago, so he really just bounces around and prefers to be in his cage. He doesn’t have any bad habits and is fairly quiet most of the time; he is quiet throughout the night. He would do better in a home where he can get more attention, so he can get used to being outside the cage more. Bird comes with 4 toys, an extra stick perch, cage and food. Asking $150 for all (cage alone cost $100).
