THIS IS A SEASONAL WORK OPPORTUNITY We're one of NYC's highly rated and reliable Moving Company based in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking professional and team-oriented Movers and Drivers to join us for the rest of the busy season!! The work is challenging, and requires a person who is energetic, fit, and a great team-player. Experienced movers welcome although Moving experience is not necessary. However, whether you have experience or not, we will assess your ability on a trial and provide paid training for the right candidates. Please read carefully below to apply for either a Mover (helper) or Driver-Mover position. If you appear to be a good fit, we will contact you to speak and schedule a trial for the job. Following instructions well is an important part of the assessment process. ——————————————————————————————————— MOVERS DESCRIPTION ——————————————————————————————————— - Handle, lift, and carry heavy furniture - Climb stairs/walk-ups carrying furniture - Furniture disassembly and reassemble - Wrap/prep and pack customers' items to prevent damage during transit - Safely load and unload customer items - Pack and unpack for customers as needed - Must take proper care of customer's items to make sure nothing gets damaged or lost WANT TO BE A MOVER? NOTE: Drivers will have to meet a certain criteria to be hired. If you do not, we cannot hire you and may not respond. - You must have the ability drive 20 - 26 FT Box Truck (NO CDL required). - You must be over 21 yrs old - Have clean driver license - Have at least 2 years driving experience - Have at least 6 months of heavy lifting/labor experience - You must be local to Brooklyn > local Driver candidates strongly preferred WANT TO BE A DRIVER?
