Oakley Country Club, a family oriented private club, is looking for Outside Bag Room Staff. Located west of Boston, Oakley Country Club was founded in 1898 and was designed by Donald Ross. Position Description: Assist the Director of Outside Service in overseeing the management and proper maintenance of the driving range, bag room and member services. Areas of focus will include (but are not limited to) customer service, cart fleet management, bag room operations, caddie program, and practice facilities. Duties: Greet and welcome all members and guests upon arrival to the golf club. Assist members with golf bag handling, storage and set-up on golf carts. Maintain the golf cart fleet cleanliness, readiness and proper operation per established Club standards. Clean and organize members and guests golf clubs, store in appropriate bag slots and maintain the cleanliness of the bag storage rooms. Clean, Setup and organize the practice areas daily (driving range, tees, chipping green, putting green and ball room). Work closely with the Assistant Golf Staff and other departments. Foster an environment of teamwork. Always conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image. Present for work daily in a proper, clean uniform, with approved, safe footwear. Take pride in personal appearance daily. Know and Adhere to all Club and Golf Department related policies and procedures. Exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and general conduct. Physical Demands and Work Environment Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. Frequent lifting, bending, stooping and pulling. Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Continuous standing and walking. Frequent repetitive motions. Meet age requirement of 17 years old to operate a golf cart with a valid license. Compensation Information: · Season: September - November · Hours/Work Schedule: As needed, no set schedule or hours per week.
