Description
Bobette is a slow, quiet little guy who enjoys exploring and pondering the big questions in life. I got him from an animal rescue 2-years-ago along with his little brother, Peapod. He has been a wonderful pet and quarantine buddy. Bobette is probably a little over 2-years-old, so he's about middle age for a Gerb. He's a squirmy when being handled, but I think he could grow to get along with a human pretty well if you give him enough attention. Bobette absolutely loves exploring (I gerbil-proofed my room). He patiently stands by his cage door to get my attention when he wants to run around. Bobette’s favorite thing to do is to climb the highest point he can find and stare off into the distance and contemplate the meaning of life. He’s also a big foodie and has a special talent for convincing his human to give him extra pumpkin seeds.
Bobette and his little brother, Peapod, used to be best buds but Peapod became super territorial two weeks ago and has taken to viciously bullying sweet Bobbers, who never fights back. Because of this, I am looking to find Bobette a loving home with someone who will play with him or let him explore and provide him a nice spacious cage. I am looking to rehome him with an adult who has experience caring for gerbils before.
If you are interested in providing Bobette with a loving forever home AS A PET ONLY, please reach out to tell me a bit more about yourself.
