Capital One Center is hosting a big festival to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of The Perch during its signature event: Perchfest! The Perch is a 2.5-acre public park 11 stories in the sky anchored by Starr Hill Biergarten, an amphitheater stage, games plaza, sculpture garden, great lawn, dog park and 18-hole miniature golf course with food trucks, Perch Putt. What to expect: 20+ craft brews, local musicians, specialty treats, adoptable rescue dogs, elevated miniature golf and lawn game tournaments, and entertainment for the full family. While Perchfest is free to attend, guests are encouraged to make an impact by supporting our charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington. This weekend celebration takes place September 16th 4pm-11pm; September 17th 12pm-11pm and September 18th 12pm-5pm. Registration is recommended as you’ll receive event notifications and be entered into our amazing Perchfest raffle. Please know that Perchfest is a popular weekend and if we hit capacity, guests will need to wait to enter. New this year: Perchfest guests are encouraged to keep the party going at Capital One Hall by attending the Bruce Springsteen Tribute concert, We Rock Cancer on Friday at 8pm!
