If we get enough volunteers to the event, Bayfair will donate $2,000 to LDF! Looking for volunteers to staff admission gates for San Diego Bayfair on Friday Sept. 16 8am – 5pm, and Saturday Sept 17 and Sunday Sept. 18, 7:30am-5pm. Need 10 volunteers each day. Volunteers will handle cash and credit transactions. Volunteers ages 14-17 are welcome as long as an adult is present. Bayfair is a nonprofit 501(c)4 event organized and run entirely by volunteers. An eight-member Board of Governors directs and oversees more than 700 volunteers to stage the three-day festival . The event takes place at Mission Bay Park with events at East Vacation Island (Ski Beach), Crown Point, and Fiesta Island. In addition to boat racing, including Unlimited Hydroplanes, there is a BBQ competition, Hydro-Games, Car Show, and Motorcycle Show.
