Description

Madison County has over 1100 substantiated cases of abused and neglected children. Over 400 of them are waiting for a Court Appointed Special Advocate to represent their best interest in legal decisions toward a safe, permanent home. It only takes a few hours a month to help a child. East Central Indiana CASA is hosting this special event at Anderson's new Cultured Urban Winery to recruit additional volunteers. Meet and talk with volunteers about the time commitment, training, and rewarding experience of helping children. If you are interested in learning more about how to become a CASA, join us. Registrants must be over 21, live in or near Madison County, able to pass a background check, and not currently fostering a Madison County child. Reservations are limited.
