The Cape May County Park & Zoo’s Kangaroos Gertroode, Proodence, Roothie and Regis challenge you to see how far you can JUMP! Join them at our brand-new annual event planned for Sunday, October 23rd. Register the morning of inside the Zoo from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Age group specific “Jumps” will begin at 11:00 am with 1 practice jump and 2 measured, just like the track and field event “long jump.” Competitor Jumpers are invited to attend from Age 3 – 100. Winners from each age group will receive a special award ribbon and a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and photos of our champions will be posted on our website and social media. Join us for a morning of fun raising the awareness of this great animal and the conservation efforts for Kangaroos. World Kangaroo Day is officially October 24th.
