We are looking for a Maintenance Support Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of our workforce housing property in Freeport, TX. You will perform a great variety of maintenance tasks such as painting, landscaping and HVAC repairs. To be successful in this role you are professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Your goal will be to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible way and ensure the quality our customers value most. Wage range: $13 - $15 per hour DOE. Maintain quality control and inspect work for completeness. Order materials and stock inventory for facility maintenance needs. Ensure all public areas and exterior of the facility are always well maintained. Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpet/floor cleaning, caulking, etc. Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems, room furniture, fixtures and other items at the facility. Perform preventative maintenance duties. Report major repair needs to the Sr. Facilities Technician. Requirements Skills/Qualification: At least 3 years of related general repair experience preferred. Must be flexible in hours and days worked. Must have a current valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must display very good organization and time management skills. Excellent customer service skills and be proficient using a computer. Basic working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 140 pounds with assistance. Ability to walk, stand, climb, kneel, reach, crawl, push, pull and twist the majority of the day.
