The Waukee Area Historical Society presents their 2022 fundraising event Wauktoberfest. Sponsored by Hy-vee. October 8th from 5pm-11pm in the historic downtown Waukee Triangle. Tickets will be available in advance for $10 per person and get a free drink ticket. Buy tickets at the gate for $15 per person. Tickets will be available starting Sept. 1, 2022 at www.WaukeeHistory.org. Wauktoberfest will be held under a big tent at the Waukee Triangle. Hy-vee will have a menu of German food available for purchase. Our beer garden is being sponsored by Next Generation Reality featuring beers from Confluence Brewery. Water and soft drink will also be available to purchase. Our stage is being sponsored by Heartland Roofing, Siding and Solar. Starting the evening will be the Des Moines Polka Band. The headliner Gimikk will perform from 8pm - 11pm. Gimikk has been performing Rock 'n Roll covers in Central Iowa for over a decade. All proceeds go to support the Waukee Area Historical Society.
