I'm a professional musician and have a degree, Magna cum Laude, in classical guitar and theory/composition. I teach guitar and bass, (mostly Classical and Jazz), but I can introduce you to most other styles. Professionally, I play mostly upright and electric bass. My approach is to simultaneously teach you to play your instrument and teach you the theory of music. Knowing how music works, (theory), goes a long way towards making you a better player. I am a very patient teacher and younger students are very comfortable with my approach. Also, for older and working students, I understand that you may get stuck at work or need a flexible or unusual schedule for your lesson times.
