I am a former educator with over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, principal, vice principal. I have recently decided to make the leap to start my own private school serving families in the Concord/ Martinez/Pleasant Hill/ Lafayette communities. The Discovery Zone Private School utilizes project based learning, local community classes, and monthly field trips to provide an enhanced and balanced educational experience for your little ones. Families that are interested in home schooling their children and/or looking for an alternative to district lead education would be the perfect candidates for this program. This is a private school where parents have voice and their educational goals for their children are the guiding forces to the educational options offered.
