Beautifully colored Sugar Skulls have long been part of Mexican culture. Sugar Skulls are often used as decorations on graves and altars during Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Together we will dive into the rich history of the sugar skull tradition alongside local artists and community members. You will have the opportunity to create and hand paint your own unique, expressive work. Let your imagination go wild while you personalize your own sugar skull. This ticket includes: •1 large blank ceramic sugar skull •Pan dulce treats, snacks and refreshments •Guidance from local artists More skulls and canvases will be available to purchase at the event. ***This is a Spanish-Speaking-Friendly Workshop. ***Open to ALL ages. No artistic skills are needed to join If you would like a bigger sugar skull, another canvas or more minis, please add them on during checkout. More will be available for purchase during the event too. This event will take place in our glow in the blacklight splatter studio: We are excited to create with you!
