Description

We have reimagined our annual event and made changes to the format. Ticket holders will take a guided tour of a local historic cemetery to learn about cemetery history, headstone art and symbols; and enjoy hearing yarns of local residents past. Tour groups are small and take place during daylight hours so that attendees can see the headstones and enjoy the ambiance of the cemetery. After the tour, light refreshments will be served in the historic Smith Hotel on the museum campus. This event is sponsored by Meijer. Curious about ghost hunting? The Michigan Paranormal Seeker Society will be at the Wagar House to chat with event attendees. Tours are timed and buses will not wait for late attendees. Please be courteous and arrive 15 mins early for check-in and bus line up. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking outdoors.
