Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30am - 2:30pm. The Nature Gift Store/ Bremerton Bug and Reptile Museum www.naturegifts.com ships cool critters all over the country. We are fast paced and have a small crew of long time employees. We need someone with multitasking skills who knows how to work well both independently and as part of a team. This job has 2 parts. 1) Retail - we need someone to man our museum shop 2 days a week. We’re looking for someone with customer service experience. This position is not glamorous - there are kids running around the museum all day and you will need to sometimes clean up reptile messes. Other museum tasks include general cleaning, restocking and greeting visitors. While working behind the retail counter, you will be assigned other ‘busy work’ tasks to help support our shipping team. 2) Busy Work – this will include a variety of production and daily tasks meant to help our shipping department. You may be asked to help pack boxes, assemble parts for our kits, put caterpillars into cups, clean tadpole tanks, care for plants, receive shipments and unload pallets, clean the bathroom, and do other basic assembly/warehouse type work. We need someone who is flexible and willing to learn in a fast paced environment. Qualifications for this job: * Must be willing to handle critters (caterpillars, crabs, tadpoles, etc.) * Proficient organizational skills * Great attention to detail * Someone with a strong work ethic, and the ability to take direction well.
