AN EVENING of AUTHOR READINGS, CONVERSATION, AND VOTER REGISTRATION Authors, Jeni McFarland and Steve Amick will read from their work and speak about the importance of freedom of speech in their work. Author and playwright, Brian Cox, will act as MC for the evening, speaking about the work of the WDA (Writers for Democratic Action).  Joan Sampieri, President of the League of Women Voters (LWV) for the Ann Arbor region, will also be on hand to speak about the role of the LWV.
