Description

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces blue prints using coated paper and light. The process was discovered by the scientist and astronomer Sir John Herschel in 1842 and was first used in art and photography in 1843 by Anna Atkins. It's often seen as one of the earliest forms of photographic printing. Join DVAA, 20/20 Festival, and instructor Bill Brookover for a celebration of this 180 year old art process at Palumbo Park in South Philadelphia at 723 Catherine St. No need to bring supplies, just bring curiosity and creativity.
