Worker Needed for Fence Repair/Replacement

Our company is hiring a laborer/assistant to help with the repair of a cedar fence at a home near North Union Blvd. and Research Pkwy. (NE Colorado Springs, Briargate neighborhood). This is a one-day job. The successful hire will be a person who has some fence construction experience and who also has experience removing old fence posts (and the concrete caissons). The pay is $25/hour, paid in cash at the end of the job. The one-day job starts on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 9:00am. Estimate of the total time for the job is from 5 to 8 hours. You will be paid for a minimum of 6 hours, $150, even if the job doesn't take that long. For example, if we get the job done in 3 or 4 hours, you will still be paid $150. After 6 hours you will be paid the hourly rate of $25/hour. The work involves removing some old fence posts, partially removing the fence pickets and stringers, pouring new concrete caissons, and replacing the deteriorated parts of the fence. This is real work, make no mistake, it is hard and physical. Please don’t respond to this posting if you are not used to physical labor. We need someone who shows up on time, knows how to follow directions, can communicate well, and is not afraid of hard work. You must have your own transportation. It would be helpful—but not necessary—if you had your own basic carpentry tools. We have the heavy tools necessary for the work; most importantly we are looking for a good worker. There is the possibility of earning a bonus at the end of the day if you prove yourself to be a decent worker. We have many more projects in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area, so if this first project works out there will be more opportunities to work—many more.
