Light Machine Operator / Inventory - Immediate Hire

Description

The organization is looking for an individual to operate various machines for packaging products. This individual will also aid in organizing / stocking / recording inventory. Occasionally, based on demand, this individual may be required to assist with shipping products. This individual must: - Set up packaging machines to specifications - Monitor packing machines and handle malfunctions - Maintain records related to packaging - Operate a computer and perform basic functions. - Carefully read very fine text to operate the machine and inspect quality of products. - Perform routine inspection of product quality and maintenance on machines such as checking machine health and reconfiguring setups, and other necessary adjustments. - Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and related practices. - Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. - Keep track of multiple machines all operating at the same time. Working Conditions and Physical Effort - Work involves exposure to cold temperatures (as low as 40F), dust, and/or loud noises. - Light physical activity. Individual must be able to stand for at least 8 hours, crouch and stand repeatedly, and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. - Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Ability to learn Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to use a computer Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures. Ability to read very fine print and notice imperfections. Focus Multitasking Patience Reliability Hours: 7am - 2pm Monday-Friday
