SUMMARY Focused and responsible in assuring quality by verifying production items for final Sales approval with analytical/statistical approach. Actively participates in the Production area adhering to all rules and policies with lean perspective in moving WIP items to Shipping Dept. to improve our on-time order delivery and meeting our customer’s demand. Cross training is a must in various areas where help is needed. RESPONSIBILITIES •Sampling for RGA and incoming routers if applicable •Soaping the ACS/Type 5 routers and post pack inspection of USP routers •Scale/Weight verifications •Verification and approval of router content as well as labels print for packing •Gather and analyze accuracy/quality data •Verify and approve cleaning and sanitizing the packing room. •Ability to assist in Prepping drums, container for packing process •Ability to move large or heavy chemical drums (tools assisted) and set them up for packing. •Adhere to safety by wearing proper protective equipment (full face respirator if needed). •Must be able to exam the color, aspect, check appearance of the chemicals to observe any imperfection, foreign material or contaminants. •Cross functional training may apply within the same Dept. or other Dept. •Cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy •Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Ability to read and interpret information in the router, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. •Ability to understand HAZMAT materials requirements to prepare and pack chemicals.
