Scampers Daycamp for Dogs on NE 124th Street in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland is looking for Part Time and Full Time Rock Solid Dog Wranglers for morning shifts, and for Wranglers and Boarding Specialists for weekend morning shifts to support our Boarding facility. If you're available right away, you can start right away. You will be a member of a team monitoring a large group of dogs and maintaining a safe and clean play environment. If you love dogs and think you can handle working with a great number of them, possess lots of positive energy, and can keep up in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team. These opportunities would work well for someone with Vet Assistant, Vet Tech, or Kennel Tech experience, but we are happy to train the right individuals for these shifts. If you truly love dogs, you're probably one of those. We welcome people of all backgrounds. Here's what we mean when we ask for someone who has a rock-solid work ethic: - If you're on the schedule, it's because you are a crucial member of a carefully assembled team working to keep everyone (canines and humans) safe. - Reliability is an absolute must - whether you commute by bus, car, or Uber doesn't matter, but we need you to get to your shift - every time, on time! - Dog wrangling is a lot of fun, but it is also an important and occasionally a very physically demanding job. You will be on your feet all day. There are moments of strenuous work between long periods of quiet, but you must be able to stay focused on the dogs, even when they appear to be calm and settled. You always need to be prepared to run, but also have fun.
