Hi, we are The Deck Shop LLC Based out of Lakewood/Tacoma area. Yes we do interior work too ;-) We are looking to immediately hire a top notch interior remodel expert. Knowledge of all aspect of interior finish work a huge plus. We do high end Kitchens and Baths. We are not your average Contractor. We strive to continually improve ourselves and one another. We treat our employees like family. We do what it takes to get the job done on time and better than promised with out excuses. We joke and can be a little sarcastic at times, but we all have the same goal. To be the best at what we do. This means acknowledging what we don’t know and open to others ideas and talents. Big egos and “The way I’ve always done it” are not welcome here. We build amazing interior spaces. You job is to bring the project to reality. You take over from the estimator and put the plan together on delivering the promise given to the customer. You verify materials and plans. Place and coordinate material purchases and deliveries. You will do everything in your power to set yourself and others up for success. You are a problem solver. In this role you will: - Be a leader! (Leading, Managing, and Accountability) - Have a good relationship with all team members - Work with the estimator and customer to really get to know the job! - Take the idea and info from the customer/estimator and turn it into a build-able plan - Calculate and set hours and timeline for the project. - Work closely with the install crew, making sure the project goes as smoothly as possible - Be the “person” the customer can call at any time with any question, and help them In this role you must: - Team Player - Problem Solver - Go Getter - Great communication skills Realistic ideas of this position: - High stress - job success is riding in your shoulders - High pressure - crews rely on your work being done - Dealing with unhappy customers at times - Interrupted frequently throughout the day - Pressure to make quick and good decisions Compensation - $50,000 - $100,000+ This depends on skill set and ability.
