I have no idea if you will see this but you and your dog are in my thoughts. I am so so sorry I couldn’t tell you more, it all happened so fast, he/she ran in front of that truck so quickly that my brain could barely make sense of what I just witnessed until it was too late. I deeply hope your dog will end up okay even though I know things did not look good, and I hope you don’t have to go through this stress and sadness alone. I have the leash as well, if you would like it back I’m more than happy to bring it to you as I live in the neighborhood. My condolences, G
