Location is in Davis, CA. Summary: Under the supervision and at the direction of the Property Manager and the Senior Maintenance Technician, perform moderate to difficult repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain the condition and appearance of the property. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: • Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with Company policy and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager • Make ready, unit turns and work orders preventive Maintenance Repair • Assist with all plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting • Customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and corporate departments Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent, college and/or trade school preferred • Relevant certification (e.g., HVAC, CPO) strongly preferred • One to two years industry or maintenance related experience • Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience - Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards (i.e., asbestos, lead, mold, radon) as they apply to residential housing • Proven organizational and time management skills • Valid driver license and automobile insurance • Ability to read and write English; speak English and understand spoken English • Must be able to complete scheduled routine tasks quickly and efficiently, without supervision.
