Bessie is an ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART! Whoever adopts her will find a sweet, loving, affectionate, eager to please, amenable, adorable pup. I rescued Bessie off the streets of the desert in California. She was roaming around on a highway and since then, she has traveled over 3000 miles with me. From the beginning, she was always sweet, loving people, wanting to snuggle and loves to be/sleep near you. While I do not know her history, based on the vet, she is approx. 2.5 years old, is a Staffordshire Pit Terrier, and is healthy and well. She is house trained, crate trained, and friendly with humans, including children. She is great with other dogs, as long as they are friendly, however, she does seem to intimidate cats. Those who are familiar with her breed have told me I got very lucky with her temperament, as she really is charming. I get complimented all the time! She is needing a good home to go to with a fenced in yard and someone active and outdoorsy. Ideally, she would go to an owner (or owners) who already have experience with dogs, particularly with her breed, as she still requires training and can be strong willed. She has gone on me for long runs and hikes, to the beach, and loves being in cars.
