Description
The GreenerVolts Warehouse Manager will directly manage the incoming, outgoing and storage of all company assets. This role is a critical piece of the operations department and will directly contribute to company success. The Warehouse Manager will report to the Operations and Business Development Lead.
The Warehouse Manager will complete the following tasks:
Maintain the condition of the warehouse by ensuring all assets are organized and kept in good repair
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.
Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and overall safety of staff.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles.
Completion of all other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years warehouse management experience
Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
Ability to operate forklift effectively
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
Understanding of safety rules and regulations
Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for warehouse maintenance
