Armstrong Relocation is one of the largest haulers of household goods for the United Van Lines family of companies. We offer competitive wages and a step up program for non-CDL drivers who want to obtain a CDL. In order to qualify, the candidate must have excellent attendance and be well respected by our customers and crew members. HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS: 1) Train to be a professional mover and crew leader. 2) While in training, our safety representative will assist you in becoming a qualified United Van Lines non CDL driver. 3) Once qualified, you may have the opportunity to become an Owner Operator. 4) If a CDL is the desired goal, we will assist with obtaining the CDL permit and the company will enroll the candidate in the CDL training program at a certified school. Even if you do not want a CDL, we have non CDL driving opportunities: 1) Local - working within Lancaster and surrounding counties - paid an hourly rate. 2) Intra and Interstate - paid a percentage of the linehaul This is a great opportunity for the career minded individual who is nice, careful and hardworking.
