MCF Properties is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to assist our team in maintaining our 150 residential and commercial units. We are a small privately owned business with several properties located in the Wenatchee Valley. Property maintenance is essential to every apartment community, and it is the maintenance team that carries out this vital role. Maintenance Technicians are charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds. QUALIFICATIONS: - A working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service - The ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action - Superior customer service skills and a great attention to detail - One or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical and appliance repair and installation and general carpentry; and painting. ( Highly Preferred) -Must have a good history of job dependability and performance. -Must have experience in the use of maintenance equipment and tools. - A high school diploma or equivalent with trade school and/or military training or industry designation. (Highly Preferred) - A valid driver's license, own transportation and a good driving record. (Highly preferred) - Pass a drug screen, criminal background check, credit check, social security card check and provide authorization to work in the United States. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders. 2. Rectify all maintenance problems during the work day. 3. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace and ensure they are in proper working order, request replacements as necessary. 5. Be able to provide your own basic hand tools. Company will provide most tools so long as the employee has the basics. 6. Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of all of our properties. 7. Perform timely "Make Ready" repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) 8. Paint units for turnover as directed by the maintenance supervisor. 9.Report all unit deficiencies and or risk management safety issues. 10. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary. BENEFITS: Paid time off. Pay is negotiable and dependent upon previous experience.
