Rooster Magazine is a free monthly music, art and entertainment magazine. Mile High Sports Magazine is a bimonthly (every 2 months) magazine–we distribute both magazines to Loveland and Fort Collins. This is a 1099/gig/contract job--1-5 days, 1x per month--we are deadline driven once the magazines arrive. We are looking for 1-2 dependable distributors or delivery drivers with SERIOUS FLEXIBILITY around the 1st of the month; our magazines are not always shipped on time from the printer--we anticipate a delivery date but often they are 1-3 days late. We usually start distribution around the 28th, 29th, 30th or 31st of the month and deadline by the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th most of the time. You must have a TRUCK, VAN or SUV to do this job effectively and in a timely fashion--vehicles with good payload capacity and excellent gas mileage will make the most money at this job. You must be able to lift and carry at least 30lbs repetitively while working. You should have a smartphone and be able to navigate to sites if you need to, and be able to communicate via text messaging and email. It helps if you have a printer and scanner but is not required--if you do not have a printer/scanner you will have to go to a library or kinkos/etc to print your distribution lists and to scan and email them back to the distribution manager once distribution is over. We generally work during business hours--along with delivering the new magazines, you will have to locate and count old issues at each site and mark it on your list, as well as take other simple notes if necessary. Plus you will receive an additional gas stipend each month. ~320 stops.
