We are hiring an experience foreman in the Austin TX area! Pay is BOE starting at $25+ Qualifications • Valid Driver’s License • Strong communication skills • Background Checks • Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions associated with building trades •Must pass a drug screen Responsibilities • This position requires a considerable amount of work, responsibility, persistence, problem-solving ability, and good attitude. • Assist in gathering quantities of work in place and reporting same for the weekly and monthly Cost Control reports; on small projects, may also do the timekeeping. • Check concrete forms for accuracy and adequacy of construction, including all embedded items before placement of concrete. • Assist with quality control, safety program, and coordination of subcontractors as delegated by the project superintendent. • Coordinate material deliveries by checking material requirements in advance and comparing with the delivery status. • Additionally, verify materials delivered to the job for quantity, quality, and condition, and check for missing and/or damaged items • Work closely with the project superintendent to avoid duplication of effort, as well as to report individual progress and activities so they can be continually evaluated and corrected, if necessary • Observe and adhere to all company safety policies • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project • Involves the operation of small equipment and tools • The Construction Foreman will work alongside personnel to accomplish building maintenance and repairs, interior renovation projects, as well as oversee and coordinate the use of equipment, tools, supplies, and materials.
