got a call that displayed shawano with a 715 area code. Guy had heavy indian accent. Wanted to know if i received my new plastic medicare card. Knew it was a scam so i played along. Asked me if i was my father inlaw, he passed away 20 years ago. Told him he must have the wrong number. Then he asked me if i was using my old paper Medicare card or my new plastic 1 for 2022. I knew it was a scam and told him that i was still using my paper 1. He than asked me my full name. Told him it was Drew P. Balls. He than asked me to get my paper Medicare card and to give him the number. I finally told him it was a scam and hung up. How stupid do they think we are. But again people probably falling for this so be careful. Best regards, Drew
