I am currently seeking used men's clothing for my two boys (ages 11 and 12 ) to wear as school clothing - I used all my savings ($250) to help a severely ill kitten we rescued out of our garage a few months back. We heard her cries and then found her. She was so skinny and her eyes were swollen and matted shut -she couldn't see. The boys and I cleaned her up and took her to a vet. She had a bad bacterial infection in her eyes and one eye was extremely abcessed causing severe damage. We gave her antibiotics, medicated eye salve, and no-dry eye drops. condition cleared. Unfortunately, the abcessed eye is slowly swelling up bigger and bigger - protruding out of the eye socket. We spent all my savings to get her well only to find out that without immediate surgery to remove her eye- it will pop/rupture and will likely kill her within 6 Mos most. The surgery costs $1200.00 (I can't afford) so I reached out to all the animal shelters, charities, organizations, and private vets, but none can take her on or assist me in her care. I would have been able to buy school clothes had I not used it on a rescued kitten. My priorities should have been my kids and not a kitten but it was necessary. On top of that, a few weeks ago I had to miss a lot of time at work due to my husband having emergency foot surgery - his diabetes caused huge ulcers to develop on the bottom of his foot. The very serious infection caused sepsis and I was given some time off to help him. I couldn't buy school clothes because I didn't earn a paycheck. Kids went to school yesterday and one of them was picked on over his clothing - and he's so embarrassed already trying to stay home over it. So i ask PLEASE, IF ANYONE HAS MENS SIZE M/L SHIRTS, JACKETS, HOODIES AND SWEAT PANTS- PLEASE CONTACT ME AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. I also have no transportation. I would need them dropped off at my house or the dollar general on Niles rd S.E warren 44484- it's a close public place - for those that prefer meeting in public.
