The FBI team that is under investigation by John Durham and the FBI Disciplinary unit is at the heart of the Mar-a-Lago raid. Now some of the members of the DC FBI office are running the Mar-a-Lago case…not the Miami field office. Even though they are under "active" investigation by both Durham and the bureau’s disciplinary arm. In addition, a key member of the Crossfire team – Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten – has continued to be involved in politically sensitive investigations, including the ongoing federal probe of potentially incriminating content found on the abandoned laptop of President Biden’s son Hunter Biden, according to recent correspondence between the Senate Judiciary Committee and FBI Director Christopher Wray. FBI whistleblowers have alleged that Auten tried to falsely discredit derogatory evidence against Hunter Biden during the 2020 campaign by labeling it Russian “disinformation,” an assessment that caused investigative activity to cease. Auten has been allowed to work on sensitive cases even though he has been under internal investigation since 2019, when Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred him for disciplinary review for his role in vetting a Hillary Clinton campaign-funded dossier used by the FBI to obtain a series of wiretap warrants to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Horowitz singled out Auten for cutting a number of corners in the verification process and even allowing information "he knew to be incorrect" slip into warrant affidavits and "mislead" the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court. Compromised FBI Team? Timothy Thibault reportedly worked with Auten to discredit any information on Hunter Biden’s laptop. According to Paul Sperry’s investigation, FBI Director Christopher Wray has only barred those agents from participating in FISA court wiretap cases, not other sensitive matters. Other members of the FBI team are: Jay Bratt, Alan Kohler, David Laufman…these are the names of other people involved in the current investigation that were also involved in the targeting of Trump in the Crossfire Hurricane situation. We know that David Laufman provided stories for the likes of CNN, Washington Post, etc. Jay Bratt was the lead agent who showed up at Mar-a-Lago in June, went through the home, and asked for more security on the SCIF where the documents were kept. They complied. Alan Kohler was close to Stefan Halper, an informant from Russiagate as well as Stephen Somma, whom IG Horowitz stated was "responsible for some of the worst conduct in the FISA warrant abuse". It’s an absolute convoluted mess. It was a blatant political campaign to destroy one man: Donald J. Trump. Who all was involved besides the ones we’ve known for some time- Andrew McCabe, James Comey, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice and company? Obviously the Swamp in DC is deeper than anyone could have imagined. The same FBI Team that worked on Crossfire Hurricane is now working on the so-called “National Security investigation” against Trump.
