I have a small dog that I must rehome. I took over his care after my mother became Ill, but I am not in a good position to be taking care of a dog right now. His name is Bailey, he is a mix breed, likely a Corgi, Chihuahua, Pomeranian mix. He is standoffish at first and needs someone with patience that will let him come to them when he's ready. Once he knows you, he loves you and turns into the cuddliest little lap dog. He has an easier time warming up to women. He needs space when he's getting to know you because he's frightened easily and does not like to be cornered. He is about 6 years old and has been very very loved. He's potty trained, leash trained and knows sit, lay down, roll over, and sit pretty. He's lived with cats and dogs all his life but he gets along better with small animals. He loves hikes, he'll sit with you on a paddle board, he's super food motivated, he runs good on a leash and loves all things exercise. He's not a chewer so chew toys do not entice him. He's good with being groomed and having his toe nails filled down but doesn't like them being clipped. He's good with a blow dryer and hair clippers. He's also good with having his teeth brushed. I think he would be best in a home with all the attention on him and prefer he has a yard to play on but he's lived in an apartment most his life. He's not a barker at all. Serious inquiries.
