guitarist looking for band

Description

if any bands out there are looking for a guitarist, I'm feeling the urge to reenter that world. I've mostly played as the sole guitarist and singer in three pieces, but my last band has kind of gone into indefinite hiatus mode since the pandemic (and other members moving away). while I'm still down to sing (esp in a secondary fashion), I'm under no illusions I'm a fantastic singer, and would be more interested in exploring the guitar in a larger band (i.e. with two guitars, or a guitar and a keyboard, or what not) in a way I haven't been able to previously. I am most at home playing post-punk, indie rock sort of stuff. I'm not a blues or a classic rock player, and I'm not a virtuoso, but I think I have solid chops, esp for my preferred genres, and I have a good ear and an expansive pedal board that gives me a lot of pretty cool tonal options (another reason I'd like to try something other than being a front man is it gives me more ability to explore this side of playing). I'd be down to contribute to songwriting, especially collaboratively, but would also be really happy to work with other people's songs, which isn't something I've done in a long time. my big influences include Television, Unwound, Pavement, David Bowie, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Have a Nice Life, mewithoutYou, and also some jazz. I like lots of different styles but do tend to gravitate more towards darker music. not sure how fruitful posting on CL in 2022 will be but figured it was worth a shot. you can hear my guitar playing a few different places. here's a few samples on which I play 100% of the guitars: - https://deadchannelband.bandcamp.com/album/last-of-the-big-time-splendors - https://recognitions.bandcamp.com/ - https://faderouser.bandcamp.com/releases
