Job Description for Construction General Laborer: Perform general construction labor/job site clean-up. Move various construction materials Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for journeyman employees to perform defined tasks. Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines. Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards. Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and taking trash to the dumpster. Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements. Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position. Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work safely and successfully as a team. Ability to understand and follow directions with moderate supervision. Ability to communicate effectively.
