We are a fast-growing Powder Coating Company near Midway Airport. We are looking for Full Time Experienced Powder Coating Operators. Candidates must be able to ensure the quality of film coating through visual and test methods and the overall quality of parts coated through visual inspection. Maintain settings on Spray guns and Powder booth to ensure coating quality on parts. Follow safety guidelines and complete paperwork according to procedures defined. Train on other equipment and or processes within the production area to meet customer demands. Troubleshoot equipment and painting concerns. Ensure proper start up and shutdown of powder coating system(s). Monitor and maintain cleanliness of guns, filters, booths and organization of the area. • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time • Strong attention to detail, focus and ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks • Able to work in extreme environment, with proper PPE • Apply a specified film thickness the correct powder coating material to production requirements • Maintain log of powder usage • Trouble shoot and resolve powder application system abnormalities. • Perform contamination free color changes within a specified period • Proper storage and maintain powder retrieval and inventory records • Cleaning and maintaining powder booth and powder spray equipment • Must be able to work overtime occasional Saturdays.
