RJ Transit is looking to add a mechanic to the family. The hours will be midnight to 8AM. Experience not necessary but preferred. We are willing to train the right individual. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect equipment and trailers to FMCSA standards. Diagnose and repair equipment Knowledge of tools, parts and materials used in repair/maintenance Fixing/dismount/mount tires Know how to fix electrical issues or have the ability to learn Know how to fix air issues or have the ability to learn Cleaning trucks and shop during down time. Requirements: Must be able to physically perform tasks associated with the position Must be able to communicate verbally in writing and in messages Follow writing and verbal instructions and policies Establish and maintain working relationships with other employees Benefits: Pay will be based on experience $18 to $22 an hour We offer direct deposit (your check will be in your account Fridays) Six paid holidays.
