Job Description Maintaining and helping to run a private residence Housekeeper/Household Assistant We are looking for someone that loves working to make a home neat, orderly, clean, and operate smoothly. -Organizing and maintaining an orderly home -Shopping and errands -Light Garden Care -Housekeeper and cleaning duties (See below) Specific Housekeeper / Cleaning Duties Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Cleaning toilets, showers, countertops, and sinks. Maintaining a clean kitchen area including dishes. Making beds and changing linens. Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs. Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors. Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry, as well as putting clothes away. Ironing clothing items as needed. Using all cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools. Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies. Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces. Emptying trash and recycling receptacles. Tidying up and organizing rooms. Inventory cleaning supplies and order more as needed. Report any necessary repairs or replacements needed. Home has a very friendly, well behaved medium sized dog. Assist with managing rental property in Janesville Compensation: $30.00 /hr Part-Time, 4-6 hours per week, usually 2 days (Flexible Schedule, Choose your hours). Choose your schedule.
