Hello, Classic Volkswagen Bus restoration shop looking for an in house / or mobile Classic Aircooled mechanic We specialize in 1968-1979 VW Buses 95% of the mechanical work will be on these vehicles, on occasion we work on VW Vanagons ( they are very similar as far as mechanically) Mechanic must have experience in Aircooled VWs : Common repairs : Full brake replacement or inspection and repairs Engine removal and install, Full Tune ups, diagnostic and repair of engine ( we have a mechanic who rebuilds motors for our buses so rebuilding is not necessary but a plus ) Basic electrical work, getting headlights, tail lights, blinkers, horn, wipers in working condition. Looking for in house mechanic or mobile mechanic, we are flexible and can schedule and deliver bus to you for repairs. Hours are full time 40 hours a week.
