IHSS application to get someone paid is pending, but am looking for a man or men for some very minor housework, and mostly to help me shower twice daily (so likely 1 guy for AM with minor housework, 1 PM for shower only), and would like to try to find someone (interview & trial shower) so that by the time the paperwork clears I will have found someone who can help me, as it can take a long time to find the right guy to help me and not someone who just wants to hang around and get paid. (I've seen this before with my parents years ago.)
I am somewhat old-fashioned man, and think nothing of a man assisting me with a shower, am not be at all comfortable with a woman (I grew-up Baptist).
Are you comfortable helping me shower? I have a lot of back pain trying to bend to clean from the waist down, so need help that's not afraid to handle those areas, at least.
