Hi, I'm looking for good people interested in living off grid. I have a property in North County Valley Center/Pala area but I can not be there all the time to guard the property. I need to find someone who can stay at the property for 4-6 months to watch over it and do work in exchange for rent. So it's rent free in a nice area but you'd have plenty of work to do. Property is over 6 acres raw land in total, has road access, dirt driveway, creek and lots of oak trees, maple, palm and manzanita. As for work that needs to be done, well first off would require someone competent and experienced with off grid living. The property would need a simple perimeter fence and gate and a small cabin/shed built. Until you've finished that you'd have to live out of your 4x4 truck camper or suv because there's nothing there just raw land. There is a creek for water, of course you'd have to figure a way to filter and treat the water. Ideal person would be a hardworking young man, or woman frugal and resourceful with some income, lots of skills and knowledge, tools and a 4x4 truck/suv who is passionate about nature and living off grid. Someone who can be trusted and will really appreciate this kind of opportunity. Someone interested in small organic farms, homesteading, gardening, these kinds of things.
